Furry Trips was born from a deep and bittersweet feeling — and an unshakable love for animals.

Before moving to Canada, we shared our lives with our two little girls, common marmoset monkeys, also known as finger monkeys or titis. They filled our home with joy, tenderness, and endless love.

When we moved to Vancouver, our little ones couldn’t come with us, leaving a big emptiness in our hearts. But true love for animals doesn’t fade — it transforms.

We started caring for the dogs of our friends and neighbors… and soon, more and more furry paws found their way to us. What began as a way to feel closer to our girls became something much bigger: a mission to give love, care, and adventure to every dog that comes into our lives.

Caring for dogs started as a way to ease the distance from our girls… but we quickly realized something: our hearts don’t just get full — they grow with every dog that comes through our door.

Every wagging tail, every happy bark, and every sweet look reminds us that this isn’t just work… it’s our passion.

Today, we combine Hector’s professional dog training background with Berenice’s lifelong love and care for animals to offer more than just a service:
